OO architecture is an architecture design studio. Rather than defining characteristics, the studio embraces its inevitable evolution and continually seeks ways to improve through working. The critical values include the versatility of design methods and representation techniques and the sincere attitude toward each given work.
Moon Joo Lee reads, writes, draws, makes the most of his time, and teaches at Hongik University. He is interested in the roles of architectural drawing and its latent potential and values elements to be unbuilt as much as built during design processes. By taking advantage of neither being inside nor outside and on the boundary of two different worlds, he develops his ability to see things that are unable to see when being on either side. He studied architecture at the University of Michigan and Hongik University.
